I built the gym I always needed.

I'm Quinn, a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, group fitness instructor, and the person behind The Quiet Lifter.

My Story

I spent years building the life I thought I was supposed to want.

I left academia after hitting a wall of burnout. I built a career in the corporate world, and eventually burned out there, too.

Through all of it, fitness was my refuge. Lifting helped me reconnect with my body, build confidence, and feel strong when everything else felt like too much. While still working full time, I started teaching group fitness on the side through a Les Mills certification.

Then I learned that I'm autistic. Suddenly a lot made sense: why some spaces drained me, why structure and repetition felt like relief, and why so much of fitness culture never fit.

So I made a decision. I would build my whole life around the things that actually make me feel like myself.

The Quiet Lifter is that decision, turned into something I can share.

What I believe

  • Strength is for everyday life. Squatting, lifting, carrying, getting up off the floor. That's what we train.

  • Predictable is a feature. Repeating workouts is how you see real progress. Familiar structure is how you keep showing up.

  • You deserve to know why. Every phase and every movement comes with a reason.

  • Nobody should have to yell at you to get you strong. Calm coaching works.
